"On the Go Bags"

Our " On the Go " bags started as a simple desire by one of our members for their family to help the hurting in our community. It has turned into a goal for our local church to meet the need for as many hungry people in our community as we are able.
We meet on the first Saturday of every month at 10:00 am to pack individual meal bags to distribute in our community. We currently supply bags to three of our local elementary schools to help with the shortfall they receive from the food bank. We also supply some bags to Human Services and the local trustee's office as we are able.
The bags include a main meal item, a couple of snacks, a dessert, a bottle of water, etc.
We gladly accept donations to help with the bags, or if you are more of a hands on person, we invite you to come and help us.
